Prince of Peace, 

In this moment of an unfolding war in Ukraine we ask for your help, be with those citizens who are now refugees fleeing for safety, guide the leaders of this world as they try to untangle this situation, protect the soldiers who are fighting, may there be a limit to the loss of life and limb.

Father, help our country, our leaders, and our service men and women, help us to remain a strong deterrent from further aggression from our enemies, be with families who are wondering if their loved ones will be deployed or pulled into this conflict.

God, on a day like today, when our hearts and minds turn to chaos unfolding outside of our immediate sphere, we also want to be mindful of those hurting in our space. Help us to be light to someone today and share your love.
