As the varsity regular season ends today and they prepare for a region championship tonight I figured I would share a brief bit about the JV season we had this year. This year we had a 6-2 record which is the second best in school history. Last week our season ended in a heart breaking loss in the JV bowl championship. The kids could not have played any harder. The coaches (especially me) could have worked a little harder.
Over all I was really pleased with the work we got done. I’m really proud of my players and staff. While we wanted the JV bowl so bad, I feel we have grown up a lot this season. Next up will be the awards banquet. Head Noise will be sure to post the date for the event as soon as it is available.

So I said I has some new ideas for the blog and this is one of them. Every Tuesday will be a quote from a movie. I originally got this idea from Josh Burnham who does quotes on Friday. His are usually deep and significant. This blog not so much. Here we go.

Hello world! It has been well over a month since I posted my last blog and I apologize. But I am back to blogging. Football season has ended in dramatic fashion and it was a blast.
Going into this season I was so excited about finally becoming a leader of a football team. Through this year I have learned a lot about leadership, mainly, I know nothing about it. I’m glad to have updated Head Noise. Be looking checking back because I have several post ideas and plenty of free time.
